Parkeon Strada - Troubleshooting - Dialogue MB Printer

The "Dialogue MB Printer" alarm occurs when the the connection between the printer and mainboard is disrupted.

  1. Power down the meter and reseat the ribbon cable to the printer.

  2. Run Function 80, and listen for the printer to make a cutting sound during initialization.

  3. Run Function 95 or Function 34 and attempt to print the ticket.
    • If the ticket prints successfully, then run Function 96 and 97 and Resolve the alarm.

    • If the ticket does NOT print, but sounds like it is trying to and there is no error message on the screen, refeed the end of the paper through the top of the printer and retry.

    • Once swapped, rerun Function 80 and then reattempt to print a Function 95 or Function 34 ticket.
